But the devout priests who prayed there are long dead, slaughtered by marauding, demonically corrupted orcs. In the massacre’s aftermath the warlocks of the Shadow Council seized the structure and bestowed upon it a new name: theBlackTemple.Located on the Eastern edge ofShadowmoonValley,BlackTempleis home to a whopping 9 raid bosses, including the maniacal Lord of Outland, Illidan Stormrage. This week, we’re getting together with friends who haven’t yet gotten both of their Twin Blades of Azzinoth, their tier 6 shoulders, pants, or chest piece, or simply want to experience what many refer to as some of the best music in the game. When Illidan the Betrayer fled to Draenor (now called Outland), he ousted theTemple’s ruler – the pit lord Magtheridon – and claimed his throne as the lord of the blasted world.
